Assign a Calendar to All Resources

• In the Setup Development > Calendars tab, in the Calendar details pane, select the Global check box.

The calendar is assigned to all resources.

Note: The calendar is not assigned to processes.

Assign a Calendar to a Resource or Process

• Drag the Calendar, from the Calendars pane, to the Resource or Process you want it to apply to in the Resources and Processes pane.

The calendar appears in a list within the tile for the resource or process.

Note: There is no limit to the number of calendars you can assign to a resource or process.

Tip: To test the effect of the calendars applied to a resource, set the scheduling period definition to 365 periods of 1 day in length, assign the resource a capacity of 1, assign the resource to a single location, and create a schedule with only that location. The schedule results show the fraction of each day that the resource is able to work.
